Wattle Park Fitness Group
The Wattle Park Fitness Group (WPFG) is not formally affiliated with the Tally Ho Fitness Group Inc (THFG), but is grateful for the opportunity for publication of their program on the THFG website. THFG members are more than welcome to join us on our activities.
The WPFG is a group of both sexes and all ages that meets at 7.30 am every Sunday (regardless of weather) and has been doing so for for over 40 years. We meet at a variety of venues (see our program) and finish the morning’s activity at 9.00 am with coffee and breakfast.
Traditionally we have been a running group, but as we mature, the advantage of cycling fitness has increasing appeal and we now cater for both runners and cyclists. In our 90 minutes of activity, the runners complete routes of around 12 km and the cyclists around 25 km. We still revel in exploring the variety of streets, lanes, trails and hills around Melbourne.
